Liugong helps Chinese clients build Georgia project

Georgia is located on the entire Black Sea coast that connects the western and central Caucasus of Eurasia. It is a must for the ancient Silk Road and modern Eurasian corridor. It has a long history of 3,000 years and a splendid culture. Partners are also one of the first countries in the world to respond and actively participate in the joint construction of the “Belt and Road”. According to the Georgian government's 2020 plan, the Georgian government is committed to improving the state of infrastructure, provided that the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and European Investment Bank provide financing.

E60 is a key project of the Georgian government committed to improving infrastructure construction. This highway connects the capital Tbilisi to the port city of Batumi and runs through eastern and western Georgia. The middle section is from Chumateleti to Argveta. The project name is "Rikoti pass section" A total length of 51.6km, including 96 bridges and 53 tunnels, nearly 5,000 people will participate in the construction of this section of the road, the total amount of the project is 1 billion US dollars. After the completion of the road, it will greatly ease the traffic pressure on the existing sections of the E60, shorten the logistics time of the capital Tbilisi, Batumi Port and Poti Port in the west, and stimulate local employment in the mountainous areas, which is of great significance to Georgia's economic development.
